History

Leadership Frisco Class 8 embarked on a journey that affects all of us now, and in the future.

More than 43,000,000 people in the United States do not have health insurance. This figure is increasing by about 1,000,000 per year as more and more Americans "slip through the cracks" of the health care system.

As a class, Leadership Frisco Class 8 decided to address this crisis in Frisco by launching Frisco Cares Children's Clinic. The clinic will is a non-profit, volunteer-based provider of low-cost acute health care to the uninsured children of Frisco and Frisco ISD.

Since launching this dream into reality, we have relied on the support of the Frisco community. We have received material and financial assistance from the citizens and businesses that is helping Frisco Cares Children's Clinic to become a permanent provider to Frisco's uninsured children.
